Pottsville, PA, July 22, 2004 – A new 125,000 square foot refrigerated produce distribution warehouse constructed for Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. in Pottsville, Pennsylvania has reached completion. Located in
High Ridge Business Park, the facility will distribute produce to food stores located in the Mid-Atlantic States.
The new warehouse features multi-temperature zones, pressurized banana ripening rooms, double-sided shipping/receiving docks, a Security Building, and a contemporary Central Employee Amenity Building with overhead bridges leading to the warehouse and
dock areas. The facility is located on a 100-acre site that has been master planned for a future full line distribution center.
