FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

INSTITUTION FOOD HOUSE SELECTS FOOD TECH FOR SOUTH CAROLINA GREENFIELD PROJECT

Florence, SC, January 11, 2005 – Engineering and construction management firm Food Tech LLC, of Hanover, Massachusetts, has been selected by Institution Food House, Inc. to design and manage construction of a new 310,000 square foot foodservice distribution facility in Florence, South Carolina. The project will also include a 14,000 square foot fleet maintenance facility.

"IFH has simply outgrown their existing facility," says Food Tech project manager Bob Ross. "Rather than contend with the operational restrictions and limited land available at their current location, they decided to construct a new facility that we can design around product and people flow." Ross adds that the Florence greenfield project entails a full spectrum of Food Tech's services, from facility sizing to site selection to final design and construction management.

"We're very excited about this project and we value the confidence that IFH continues to show in us," says Food Tech President Luke Heffernan. Food Tech has been involved in several projects for Institution Food House, including a 120,000 square foot cooler renovation recently completed in Hickory, North Carolina.

"With our market and client base rapidly expanding, either an expansion or a new facility would be necessary to continue that trend," says IFH's General Manager Rick Wilder. "Our number one priority is client satisfaction and we're looking forward to having Food Tech construct a new facility that will help us to continue to provide the level of service our customers have become accustomed to."
