FOOD TECH RETAINED BY FLORIDA FOOD SERVICE TO DESIGN AND BUILD DISTRIBUTION CENTER EXPANSION
Gainesville, FL, January 18, 2007 – Massachusetts-based planning, engineering and construction firm Food Tech Structures has been retained by Florida Food Service to design and construct a 45,000 square foot expansion to an existing distribution facility in Gainesville, FL.
The expansion is comprised of 14,600 square feet of dry storage, 10,800 square feet of freezer, 9,300 square feet of shipping/receiving dock area with eight dock doors, 3,400 square feet of offices, and 6,900 square feet of utility/employee amenity areas.
Food Tech's scope of work includes full architectural/engineering services and all construction management, as well as site improvements including auto and truck parking/maneuvering facilities.
