Commercial Mexicana begins construction on a new 200,000 SF state-of-the-art perishable distribution center in Mexico City with Food Tech as their technical partner.
To provide for a wider selection of fresh and frozen food items and to maintain the highest quality standards throughout all of Commercial Mexicana’s stores, the board has decided to renovate an existing dry storage facility into a state-of-the-art perishable distribution center and has selected Food Tech assist their corporate engineering group with facility planning, engineering and construction. The facility will feature multiple temperature zones, refrigerated docks, pressurized banana rooms, an Ammonia refrigeration system and a commissary.
