Comercial Mexicana, the leading Mexico City grocery retailer, has selected Food Tech to design and build a new 150,000 SF state-of-the-art perishable distribution center with multiple temperature/humidity zones and pressurized banana ripening rooms.
Restaurant Depot has awarded Food Tech a sixth project,
a new facility that will be located in Hartford, Connecticut. Food Tech has previously constructed full line food service distribution centers for Restaurant Depot in New Haven,
CT, Secaucus and South Plainfield, NJ, Garden City, NY,
and Miami, FL.
Baldor Specialty Foods has hired Food Tech to renovate an existing 180,000 SF facility in the Bronx to a perishable distribution center and fresh cut fruit/vegetable process plant.
Janet Halasinski has joined Food Tech as a project manager. With 15 years of construction and project management experience, Halasinski has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering Management.
